Regular Season Round 28: Legnano - Treviglio 72-67
Date: April 9, 2017
Rather predictable result in Castellanza where third ranked Legnano (18-10) defeated 7th ranked Treviglio (14-14) 72-67 on Sunday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Worth to mention a great performance of American Nikolas Raivio (192-86, college: Portland, agency: Pensack Sports) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 7 rebounds and guard Matteo Palermo (190-91) who added 13 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Four Legnano players scored in double figures. At the losing side naturalized American guard Adam Sollazzo (198-90, college: E.Tenn.St.) responded with 8 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and the former international swingman Pierpaolo Marini (193-93) scored 8 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Legnano maintains third position in A2 with 18-10 record having four points less than leader Angelico Biella. Loser Treviglio keeps the seventh place with 14 games lost. Legnano will face Novipiu Casale (#6) on the road in the next round. Treviglio will play against Latina Basket and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
