Second Stage Round 6: Byblos - Homenetmen 65-73

The game between Top Four teams took place in Byblos. Second-best host Byblos (16-8) lost to first ranked Homenetmen (23-1) 73-65. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 29-19. But Byblos won second period 13-9. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Byblos 53-35 including a 37-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. American-Iraqi point guard Kevin Galloway (200-88, college: Texas Southern) notched a double-double by scoring 15 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists to lead the effort and American forward Dewayne Jackson (203-90, college: Morgan St., agency: Higher Vision Sports) supported him with 26 points and 5 rebounds. Even 16 points and 5 rebounds by American guard Clay Tucker (196-80, college: Wisc.-Milwaukee) did not help to save the game for Byblos. The former international Jasmon Youngblood (195-84, college: Kent St.) added 8 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Homenetmen maintains first position in LBL with 23-1 record. Byblos at the other side keep the second place with eight games lost.
