There was an upset when higher ranked Udine Delser (15-9) lost at home to eleventh ranked Castellammare (7-17) 63-50 on Wednesday. The game was mostly controlled by Castellammare. Udine Delser was better in fourth quarter 13-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American-Irish forward Fiona O'Dwyer (178-99, college: Emmanuel, MA) orchestrated the victory by scoring 10 points and 7 rebounds. Point guard Raffaella Potolicchio (169-90) contributed with 16 points for the winners. Guard Debora Vicenzotti (182-89) replied with 25 points and power forward Eva Da-Pozzo (182-95) added 8 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Udine Delser. Udine Delser's coach Valdi Medeot let to play twelve players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Castellammare moved-up to ninth place in A2. Newly promoted Udine Delser dropped to the sixth position with nine games lost.
