An interesting game for Bashkimi (20-4) which hosted in Prizren one of their biggest challengers Peja (18-5). Second ranked Bashkimi managed to get a 9-point victory 82-73. Bashkimi dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Peja's 26. American guard Justin Black (188-92, college: Morgan St., agency: Octagon Europe) scored 18 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import forward Kayel Locke (196-94, college: NC-Greensboro) chipped in 20 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Bashkimi's coach Dragan Radovic allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The former international forward Alban Veseli (202-90) responded with 19 points and 6 rebounds and American forward Noah Dahlman (201-89, college: Wofford) scored 18 points and 7 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Bashkimi have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 20-4 record behind leader Sigal Prishtina. Peja at the other side keeps the third place with five games lost. Bashkimi will play against Rahoveci (#6) at home in the next round. Peja will play against Vellaznimi in Gjakove and hopes to get back on the winning track.
