No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Bnei Hasharon (16-11) beat 7th ranked Hapoel Tel-Aviv (13-14) in Hod Hasharon 75-60 on Wednesday. The game was mostly controlled by Bnei Hasharon. Hapoel Tel-Aviv was better in second period 19-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The former international Raviv Limonad (191-84) answered with 16 points and naturalized American power forward Richard Howell (203-90, college: N.Carolina St.) added 8 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Hapoel Tel-Aviv. Hapoel Tel-Aviv's coach rotated ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bnei Hasharon maintains fourth place with 16-11 record. Loser Hapoel Tel-Aviv keeps the seventh position with 14 games lost. Bnei Hasharon will face higher ranked Hapoel Eilat (#3) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Hapoel Tel-Aviv will play against Maccabi Rishon (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
