No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Marghera (16-8) crushed 13th ranked Salerno (3-21) in Venezia 81-30 on Wednesday. The game without a history. Marghera led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Salerno to just 4 points in third quarter and to 8 points in second half. Marghera dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Salerno's 18. Marghera forced 19 Salerno turnovers and outrebounded them 38-19 including a 17-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. Argentinian swingman Macarena Rosset (178-91, agency: Players Group) orchestrated the victory by scoring 19 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists. Guard Federica Iannucci (175-93) contributed with 23 points and 8 rebounds for the winners.
