Regular Season Round 26: Kolossos HH - Trikalla 73-53

No shocking result in a game in Rodou where seventh ranked Kolossos HH (13-13) smashed 10th ranked Aiolos Trikallon (10-16) 73-53 on Thursday. The game was mostly controlled by Kolossos HH. Aiolos Trikallon was better in fourth quarter 15-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Aiolos Trikallon to just 7 points in second quarter. Kolossos HH forced 21 Aiolos Trikallon turnovers and outrebounded them 37-23 including 28 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was Christos Saloustros (201-90) who scored 15 points and 5 rebounds. American forward Juvonte Reddic (206-92, college: VCU) chipped in 13 points and 5 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Naturalized French Angelo Tsagarakis (191-84) produced 11 points and American guard Kelsey Barlow (196-91, college: Ill.-Chicago) added 13 points respectively for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Kolossos HH moved-up to sixth place, which they share with AGOR. Loser Aiolos Trikallon dropped to the ninth position with 16 games lost.
