Regular Season Round 27: Maccabi K/G - Galil Gilboa 79-82

Twelfth-ranked Maccabi K/G (4-23) used its home court advantage to challenge tenth ranked Galil Gilboa (12-15) in Kiryat Gat. The visitors from Rosh Pina managed to secure only three-point victory 82-79. However their fans expected easier game. Maccabi K/G was ahead by 1 point at the halftime before a 44-40 second half run of Galil Gilboa. They outrebounded Maccabi K/G 40-26 including 28 on the defensive glass. Newly promoted Galil Gilboa maintains tenth place with 12-15 record. Maccabi K/G lost their seventh game in a row. They stay dead last with 23 lost games. Galil Gilboa's next round opponent will be higher ranked Ironi Nahariya (#9) at home and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Maccabi K/G will play against Maccabi Ashdod and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
