Rather expected game in Luxembourg where 5th ranked Contern (13-15) was defeated by second ranked Musel Pikes (20-9) 82-75 on Saturday. It was a great evening for American power forward Clancy Rugg (203-91, college: Vermont, agency: Court Side) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 38 points (!!!), 10 rebounds and 5 assists. His fellow American import swingman Jarmar Gulley (196-91, college: Missouri St.) helped adding 24 points and 11 rebounds. International point guard Raul Birenbaum (182-89) responded with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and American guard Jesse Morgan (196-91, college: Temple) scored 18 points and 6 rebounds. Musel Pikes maintains second place in League with 20-9 record having four points less than leader Amicale. Loser Contern keeps the fifth position with 15 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
