The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Orzinuovi GaGa (24-5) on the court of eighth ranked Reggio Emilia on Saturday night. Visitors were edged by Reggio Emilia 75-73. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Orzinuovi GaGa. Reggio Emilia forced 20 Orzinuovi GaGa turnovers. It was a great shooting night for Reggio Emilia especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. 25 personal fouls committed by Orzinuovi GaGa helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Reggio Emilia (15-15) have an impressive series of six victories in a row. Newly promoted Reggio Emilia maintains eighth place in B. Orzinuovi GaGa at the other side still keeps top position with five games lost. Reggio Emilia are looking forward to face higher ranked Cento (#4) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Orzinuovi GaGa will play against San Vendemiano and is hoping to win this game.
