Regular Season Round 54: Kyoto Hannar. - Shiga L-Stars 68-74

There was a small surprise when sixth ranked Shiga L-Stars (14-38) defeated on the road 4th ranked Kyoto Hannar. (23-29) 74-68 on Saturday. It was a good game for American Craig Brackins (208-87, college: Iowa St.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds. Zimbabwean-American Julian Mavunga (203-90, college: Miami, OH, agency: Pensack Sports) contributed with 12 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. American Marcus Dove (206-85, college: Oklahoma St.) replied with 7 points and 11 rebounds and his fellow American import forward Mo Charlo (203-83, college: Nevada) added 14 points in the effort for Kyoto Hannar.Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Shiga L-Stars maintains sixth position with 14-38 record. Loser Kyoto Hannar. keeps the fourth place with 29 games lost. Shiga L-Stars will have a break next round. Kyoto Hannar. will play again at home against Shiga L-Stars (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
