Not a big story in a game when 5th ranked Yokohama BC (15-37) lost to second ranked Sanen Neophoenix (28-24) in Hamamatsu 64-77 on Saturday. It was a good game for American forward Robert Dozier (206-85, college: Memphis) who led his team to a victory with 22 points and 6 rebounds. Swingman Shingo Okada (186-83) contributed with 13 points for the winners. Sanen Neophoenix's coach Hiroki Fujita allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The former international guard Takuya Kawamura (193-86) replied with 27 points and American forward Jeffrey Parmer (203-85, college: Florida Atlantic) added 14 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Yokohama BC. Sanen Neophoenix maintains second position with 28-24 record having seventeen points less than leader Tochigi Brex. Yokohama BC lost eighth consecutive game.
