Regular Season Round 26: Trepca - Bashkimi 77-99

An interesting game for Bashkimi (20-4) which played road game in Mitrovice against 4th ranked Trepca (17-9). Second ranked Bashkimi had an easy win 99-77. Bashkimi dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Trepca's 46. American guard Justin Black (188-92, college: Morgan St., agency: Octagon Europe) orchestrated the victory by scoring 31 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. The other American import forward Kayel Locke (196-94, college: NC-Greensboro) contributed with 22 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. American guard Montrael Scott (190-93, college: Prairie View A&M) replied with a double-double by scoring 30 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists and the former international forward Samir Zekiqi (202-95) added 18 points in the effort for Trepca. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Bashkimi have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 20-4 record behind leader Sigal Prishtina. Trepca at the other side keeps the fourth place with nine games lost. Bashkimi are looking forward to face Rahoveci (#6) at home in the next round. Trepca will play against the league's leader Sigal Prishtina and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
