Not a big story in a game when 8th ranked Lighthouse TR (14-15) was defeated on the road by fourth ranked Agrigento (17-12) 76-72 on Saturday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Agrigento made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was point guard Alessandro Piazza (175-87) who scored 12 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. American swingman Perrin Buford (198-94, college: Middle Tenn.St.) chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds. Four Agrigento players scored in double figures. American point guard Keddric Mays (183-84) produced 22 points and the former international power forward Andrea Renzi (207-89, agency: Players Group) added 20 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the guests. Agrigento maintains fourth place in A2 with 17-12 record. Loser Lighthouse TR dropped to the tenth position with 15 games lost.
