Regular Season Round 29: Scauri - Cassino 70-82

No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Cassino (20-9) beat on the road 10th ranked Scauri (13-15) 82-70 on Saturday. The former international power forward Simone Bagnoli (205-81) orchestrated the victory by scoring 18 points and 9 rebounds. Center Biagio Sergio (199-86) contributed with 18 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Point guard Joshua Giammo (190-93) answered with 18 points and 7 rebounds and forward Luca Antonietti (198-94, agency: Octagon Europe) added 20 points in the effort for Scauri. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Cassino moved-up to fourth place in B, which they share with Cento. Loser Scauri dropped to the eleventh position with 15 games lost. Cassino will face Teramo (#9) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Scauri will play against Roma Vis Nova and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
