Regular Season Round 28: Bourg - Vichy Clermont 98-58

Leader JL Bourg delivered the twentieth victory. This time they crushed 17th ranked JA Vichy (10-18) 98-58. The game was mostly controlled by JL Bourg. JA Vichy was better in fourth quarter 18-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 18-of-23 charity shots (78.3 percent) during the game. JL Bourg had a 29-18 advantage in offensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three nailing 14 long-distance shots on high 56.0 percentage. JL Bourg players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Senegalese center Youssou Ndoye (213-91, college: St.Bonaventure) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds. American center Zachery Peacock (203-87, college: Georgia Tech) contributed with 17 points for the winners. Five JL Bourg players scored in double figures. Romuald Morency (202-95) replied with 8 points and 8 rebounds and power forward Charles-Henri Bronchard (200-82, agency: Court Side) added 13 points in the effort for JA Vichy. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. JL Bourg maintains first position with 20-8 record. JA Vichy at the other side dropped to the bottom place with 18 games lost. They share the position with Boulogne and St Chamond. JL Bourg will play against Saint-Quentin (#14) on the road in the next round which should be another easy win for them. JA Vichy will play against STB Le Havre (#10) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
