Not a big story in a game in S'Arenal where 9th ranked Palma (17-15) was defeated by fourth ranked Oviedo CB (21-11) 83-69 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Oviedo CB. Palma was better in fourth quarter 21-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Miquel Salvo-Llambrich (205-94) who helped to win the game recording 15 points and 6 rebounds and American guard Paul Jesperson (198-92, college: N.Iowa, agency: Inception Sports) who added 12 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Oviedo CB's coach Carles Marco used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Javier Medori (200-93) responded with 11 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Carles Bivia (189-85) scored 7 points and 6 assists. Oviedo CB have a solid three-game winning streak. Oviedo CB maintains fourth position with 21-11 record, which they share with Palencia. Loser Palma keeps the ninth place with 15 games lost. Oviedo CB will face Araberri (#11) in Vitoria-Gasteiz in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Palma will play on the road against CB Prat and hope to win that game.
