Everything went according to plan when third ranked Burgos (22-10) beat at home 16th ranked Magia Huesca (10-22) 86-78 on Sunday. Magia Huesca trailed by 11 points after 3 quarters before a 22-19 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 78-86 at the end of the game. Burgos made 18-of-19 free shots (94.7 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of Serbian center Goran Huskic (210-92, college: Howard Col., TX) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 6 rebounds and center Javier Vega (205-88) who added 14 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Four Burgos players scored in double figures. Burgos' coach Francisco Hernandez used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Bosnian Mirza Bulic (207-92) responded with 20 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and Lithuanian Jokubas Gintvainis (193-94) scored 25 points. Burgos moved-up to second place, which they share with Breogan. Loser Magia Huesca keeps the sixteenth position with 22 games lost. Burgos will face Caceres Basket (#13) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Magia Huesca will play against Melilla Baloncesto and hope to win that game.
