Regular Season Round 28: Anwil - Rosa Radom 80-74

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Anwil as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Anwil defeated 5th ranked Rosa in Wloclawek 80-74. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Rosa. Worth to mention a great performance of Croatian center Josip Sobin (203-89, agency: Alti Sport) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds and Serbian guard Nemanja Jaramaz (200-91, agency: BeoBasket) who added 14 points during the contest. At the losing side international swingman Michal Sokolowski (196-92) responded with 18 points and 7 rebounds and American power forward Darnell Jackson (206-85, college: Kansas) scored 16 points and 9 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Anwil (23-7) have an impressive 13-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Stelmet ZG. Rosa at the other side keeps the fifth place with 11 games lost. Rosa will play next round against Krosno trying to get back on the winning streak. Anwil will try to continue on its current victory against fourth ranked Twarde Pierniki in Torun.
