Vytis nipped Rasai in double-overtime drama to claim NKL Bronze medals. Rasai was trailing by 9 points at halftime but managed to get 6-point lead after three quarters before a 18-12 charge of Vytis, which allowed them to tie the game at the end of regular time. They were better in double-overtime eventually winning that period 7-11. Vytis outrebounded Rasai 49-34 including a 33-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Rasai was plagued by 32 personal fouls down the stretch. Forward Augustinas Jankaitis (205-94) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and Gytis Radzevicius (195-95) chipped in 21 points and 7 rebounds. Point guard Tomas Galeckas (183-94) responded with 34 points (!!!), 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) and guard Sarunas Vingelis (191-89) scored 18 points. Five Vytis and four Rasai players scored in double figures.
