Very expected game when 10th ranked Suns (3-7) lost to fifth ranked Eagles (5-3) in Kalamunda 90-107 on Saturday. Eagles dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Suns' 36. Eagles had a 39-25 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. American center Kevin Davis (206-91, college: Cent.Washington) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 16 rebounds and 4 blocks. Swingman Drew Williamson (196-83, college: Metro St.) contributed with 29 points, 5 assists and 4 steals for the winners. American guard Courtney Belger (187-89, college: Quincy) replied with a double-double by scoring 32 points, 10 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals and swingman Kerrod Horn (186-93) added 12 points in the effort for Suns. Four Suns players scored in double figures. Suns' coach tested twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Despite that victory Eagles went down to sixth position (League) due to points difference. Loser Suns keep the tenth place with seven games lost. Eagles will face Lightning (#9) in North Lake in the next round. Suns will play on the road against the league's leader Buccaneers in Wonthella and hope to win that game.
