Regular Season Round 28: Sant Nicolau - AEC Collblanc 68-63

There was a surprise result when twelfth ranked Sant Nicolau (11-14) beat higher ranked AEC Collblanc (12-12) in Sabadell 68-63 on Saturday. AEC Collblanc was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. It was a very good performance for forward Marc Sobrepera (201-86) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 6 rebounds. Point guard Albert Cadafalch (181-89) contributed with 12 points for the winners. Forward Lluis Jacas (198-90) replied with 19 points and 5 rebounds and power forward Roger Juan (200-82) added 8 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for AEC Collblanc. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Sant Nicolau moved-up to tenth place in Group C-A, which they share with JAC Sants. Loser AEC Collblanc keeps the seventh position with 12 games lost. Sant Nicolau will face league's second-placed Calvia on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
