Regular Season Round 6: McKinnon C. - Hume City B. 78-77

There was a minor upset in McKinnon where 4th ranked Hume City Broncos (3-2) were edged by seventh ranked Cougars (2-3) 78-77 on Saturday. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Cougars made 7 blocks. The best player for the winners was American guard Ariel Thomas (168, college: Oregon) who scored 19 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. The other American import Morgan Pullins (183, college: St.Mary's, TX, agency: Two Points) chipped in a double-double by scoring 21 points, 12 rebounds and 5 blocks. At the other side the best for losing team was Mua Laloifi who recorded 37 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds and Vivien Saad added 19 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. Cougars maintains seventh position in League with 2-3 record. Loser Hume City Broncos keep the fourth place with two games lost. Cougars will face Venom (#10) in the next round. Hume City Broncos will play against the league's leader Sunbury (#1) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
