No shocking result in a game when second ranked Dragonflies (43-12) beat 5th ranked Kagawa FA (17-38) in Hiroshima 89-81 on Saturday. Dragonflies made 20-of-25 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. It was a good game for American forward Connor Lammert (206-94, college: Texas, agency: Babcock Sports) who led his team to a victory with 19 points and 8 rebounds. The former international forward Shogo Asayama (192-81) contributed with 18 points for the winners. Four Dragonflies players scored in double figures. American forward Chehales Tapscott (195-90, college: Portland St.) answered with a double-double by scoring 31 points and 13 rebounds and forward Shinobu Kon (190-87) added 15 points in the effort for Kagawa FA. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Dragonflies maintains second place with 43-12 record having just three point less than leader Shimane SM. Loser Kagawa FA keeps the fifth position with 38 games lost. Dragonflies will face again Kagawa FA (#5) in Takamatsu in the next round.
