Regular Season Round 57: Nishinomiya S. - Shinshu BW 87-73

B League D2 top team - Nishinomiya S. (40-15) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat sixth ranked Shinshu BW (13-42) in Hyogo 87-73. The best player for the winners was swingman Naoki Tani (193-88) who scored 16 points and 6 rebounds. American forward Larry Owens (201-83, college: ORU, agency: Three Eye Sports) chipped in 5 points, 11 rebounds and 8 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Dutch power forward Jeroen van der List (213-89, college: Indian Hills CC) who recorded a double-double by scoring 26 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and American forward Xavier Ford (201-93, college: Buffalo) added 16 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Nishinomiya S. have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain first place with 40-15 record. Shinshu BW at the other side keeps the sixth position with 42 games lost. Nishinomiya S.'s next round opponent will be again Shinshu BW (#6) in Nagano which should be theoretically an easy game.
