Regular Season Round 56: Nagoya DD - Kyoto Hannar. 62-82

The biggest surprise of round 56 was guest Kyoto Hannar.'s (#4) easy road victory over Diamond Dolphins (#5) 82-62 on Saturday evening. Kyoto Hannar. dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Diamond Dolphins' 36. The game was dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was forward Kevin Kotzur (203-89, college: St.Mary's, TX) who had a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 rebounds. Marcus Dove (206-85, college: Oklahoma St.) chipped in 13 points and 9 rebounds. Five Kyoto Hannar. players scored in double figures. Forward Jerome Tillman (201-87, college: Ohio, agency: Inception Sports) produced 16 points and 6 rebounds and forward Justin Burrell (207-88, college: St.John's) added 7 points and 9 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Kyoto Hannar. maintains fourth position with 24-30 record, which they share with Niigata Albirex. Diamond Dolphins lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with 31 games lost. Kyoto Hannar. will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Diamond Dolphins will play again at home against Kyoto Hannar. (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
