Regular Season Round 28: Ardoi - Santurtzi 65-74

Another interesting game for Santurtzi (18-7) which played in Zizur Mayor against Ardoi (17-8). Third ranked Santurtzi won 74-65. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Ardoi. Ardoi was ahead by 2 points at the halftime before a 31-18 third quarter run of Santurtzi. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Joseba Iglesias (200-83) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 8 rebounds and forward Mikel Sainz (195-95) who added 12 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. Santurtzi's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the losing side naturalized Ukrainian forward Anton Savitski (196-86) responded with 18 points and 9 rebounds and guard Ignacio Urtasun (187-80) scored 14 points and 6 rebounds. Santurtzi have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain third position in Group A-A with 18-7 record having just three points less than leader Chantada, which they share with Easo. Ardoi at the other side keeps the fifth place with eight games lost. Santurtzi will play against Univ.Burgos (#11) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Ardoi will play against Burgos (#10) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
