Very predictable result when fourth ranked Meridiano Alicante (20-10) won against at home 15th ranked CB Tarragona 2017 (9-21) 78-63 on Saturday. Meridiano Alicante dominated down low during the game scoring 40 of its points in the paint compared to CB Tarragona 2017's 20. Meridiano Alicante looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by CB Tarragona 2017's players. It was a good game for forward Jon Aramburu (204-92, agency: Duran International) who led his team to a victory with 14 points and 8 rebounds. Forward Alejandro Reyes (197-93) contributed with 13 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Aramburu is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Meridiano Alicante players scored in double figures. Guard Jose Gonzalez (187-94) replied with 20 points and American Orion Outerbridge (206-88, college: Rhode Island) added 15 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for CB Tarragona 2017. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Meridiano Alicante moved-up to third place, which they share with Granada.
