Regular Season Round 30: Zamorano - Albacete 83-81

A very interesting game took place in Zamora. It ended with only two-point defeat on the road of 14th ranked Albacete (9-21) to twelfth ranked Zamorano (11-19) 83-81 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Albacete. Zamorano made 29-of-35 charity shots (82.9 percent) during the game. 27 personal fouls committed by Albacete helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was French point guard Sango Niang (183-93, college: Simon Fraser) who scored 22 points and 4 steals. American guard Chris Hansen (193-93, college: Idaho St.) chipped in 22 points. At the other side the best for losing team was Cuban forward Georvys Elias (199-81) who recorded 24 points and 6 rebounds and American guard Kris Davis (188-93, college: SIU Edwardsville) added 19 points and 4 assists respectively. Four Albacete players scored in double figures. They have an impressive six-game winning streak. Newly promoted Zamorano maintains twelfth position with 11-19 record. Albacete at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the fourteenth place with 21 games lost.
