Regular Season Round 21: Kanazawa Sam. - Tokyo HT 82-60

An interesting game for Kanazawa Sam. (35-3) which hosted in Ishikawa 3rd placed Tokyo HT (24-14). First ranked Kanazawa Sam. had an easy win 82-60. It was a good game for American power forward Andrew Fitzgerald (202-90, college: Oklahoma) who led his team to a victory with 18 points and 6 rebounds. American-Panamanian forward Gyno Pomare (203-86, college: San Diego) contributed with 14 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. American power forward Edward Morris (204-84, college: Pittsburg St.) answered with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 13 rebounds and the other American import power forward Alex Jones (206-87, college: Seattle) added 13 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Tokyo HT. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. The victory was the tenth consecutive win for Kanazawa Sam.. They maintain first place with 35-3 record. Loser Tokyo HT keeps the third position with 14 games lost. Kanazawa Sam. will face league's second-placed Fukuoka Rizing on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Tokyo HT will play against Saitama Broncos and hope to win that game.
