There was no surprise when 11th ranked Milano Hikkaduwa (12-18) was defeated on the road by second ranked Bergamo (24-6) 88-79 on Saturday. Power forward Rei Pullazi (203-93) scored 16 points and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Nicola Bastone (195-92) chipped in 15 points (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) during the contest. Four Bergamo players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was the former international power forward Andrea Paleari (202-81) with 22 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Simone Ferrarese (184-87) scored 14 points. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Bergamo maintains second position in B with 24-6 record having just four point less than leader Pescara. Milano Hikkaduwa lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eleventh place with 18 games lost.
