Center Matt Hodgson (211-91, college: St.Mary's, CA) contributed with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. American forward Mike McCahey (196, college: St.Anselm) replied with 22 points and 9 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Jacob Gibson (198-93, college: Harding) added 19 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Ringwood Hawks. Five Knox Raiders and four Ringwood Hawks players scored in double figures. Ringwood Hawks' coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Knox Raiders maintains first position in League with 6-1 record. Loser Ringwood Hawks dropped to the third place with two games lost. Knox Raiders will face Waverley Falcons (#4) in Mount Waverley in the next round. Ringwood Hawks will play on the road against Diamond Valley Eagles in Greensborough and hope to win that game.
