Regular Season Round 21: Fukuoka Rizing - Otsuka A. 92-70

An interesting game for Fukuoka Rizing (33-5) which hosted in Fukuoka 4th placed Otsuka A. (21-17). Second ranked Fukuoka Rizing had an easy win 92-70. The best player for the winners was American forward Josh Peppers (201-85, college: Cent.Florida) who scored 15 points and 6 rebounds. Ghanian-British forward Matthew Bryan-Amaning (205-88, college: Washington) chipped in a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds. Four Fukuoka Rizing players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American center Joe Wolfinger (216-85, college: Citadel) who recorded a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds and the other American import forward Kyle Richardson (201-91, college: Portland St.) added 12 points respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the tenth consecutive win for Fukuoka Rizing. They maintain second place with 33-5 record having just two points less than leader Kanazawa Sam. Otsuka A. lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the fourth position with 17 games lost. Fukuoka Rizing's next round opponent will be league's leader Kanazawa Sam. in Ishikawa and it will be for sure the game of the week. Otsuka A.'s supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Tokyo to the arena Tokyo Cinq R..
