Very important is a home loss of second ranked Dragonflies (43-13) against fifth ranked Kagawa FA (18-38) on Sunday night. Host Dragonflies were defeated by Kagawa FA in a tough game in Hiroshima 72-76. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Dragonflies. American forward Chehales Tapscott (195-90, college: Portland St.) notched a double-double by scoring 15 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and point guard Rintaro Tokunaga (177-86) supported him with 18 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. Five Kagawa FA players scored in double figures. Even 18 points by American forward Connor Lammert (206-94, college: Texas, agency: Babcock Sports) did not help to save the game for Dragonflies. The former international forward Shogo Asayama (192-81) added 18 points for lost side. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Kagawa FA maintains fifth position with 18-38 record. Dragonflies at the other side keep the second place with 13 games lost. Kagawa FA will play against league's leader Shimane Magic at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Dragonflies will play against Kumamoto V. and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
