AD Vagos upset Benfica to secure their Final Four birth. The best player for the winners was the former international swingman Daniela Domingues (176-92) who scored 22 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line). Forward Joana Canastra (174-94) chipped in 21 points. Four AD Vagos players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was international point guard Ines Viana (166-94) who recorded 26 points and 9 assists and American forward Callan Taylor (182-90, college: Sacred Heart) added 24 points and 10 rebounds respectively. Benfica's coach Andre Cardoso tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game.
