We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when fifth ranked Diamond Dolphins (24-31) won against 4th placed Kyoto Hannar. (24-31) in Nagoya 72-68 on Sunday. It was a good game for American forward Justin Burrell (207-88, college: St.John's) who led his team to a victory with 13 points and 7 rebounds. Guard Ando Shuto (189-94) contributed with 11 points and 5 assists for the winners. Five Diamond Dolphins players scored in double figures. American Marcus Dove (206-85, college: Oklahoma St.) answered with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds and the other American import forward Kevin Kotzur (203-89, college: St.Mary's, TX) added 11 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Kyoto Hannar.Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Diamond Dolphins moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Niigata Albirex and Kyoto Hannar. Diamond Dolphins will face Shiga L-Stars (#6) on the road in the next round. Kyoto Hannar. will play against Ryukyu GK in Okinawa and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
