Regular Season Round 27: Sigal Prishtina - Trepca 123-77

The game between Top Four teams took place in Prishtina. First ranked host Sigal Prishtina (22-3) smashed 4th placed Trepca (17-10) 123-77. The game without a history. Sigal Prishtina led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 82 of its points in the paint compared to Trepca's 56. Sigal Prishtina looked well-organized offensively handing out 34 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Trepca's players. It was a great evening for the former international forward Drilon Hajrizi (203-91) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points and 4 assists. The former international Fisnik Rugova (208-89) helped adding 13 points and 9 rebounds. Sigal Prishtina's coach Audrius Prakuraitis felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was American guard Montrael Scott (190-93, college: Prairie View A&M) with 31 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists and power forward Besnik Azemi (200-89) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds. Five Sigal Prishtina and four Trepca players scored in double figures. Sigal Prishtina have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 22-3 record. Trepca at the other side keeps the fourth position with ten games lost. Sigal Prishtina are looking forward to face Rahoveci (#6) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Trepca will play against Kerasan and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
