Not a big story in a game when 6th ranked Sendai 89ers (13-42) were outscored on the road by third ranked Chiba Jets (39-16) 102-61 on Sunday. Chiba Jets made 24-of-31 free shots (77.4 percent) during the game. It was a good game for American center Hilton Armstrong (210-84, college: Connecticut) who led his team to a victory with 20 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Chiba Jets will face league's leader Tochigi Brex on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Sendai 89ers will play against the league's second-placed Toyota Alvark (#2) and hope to win that game.
