Regular Season Round 57: Osaka Evessa - Ryukyu GK 83-62

An interesting game for Osaka Evessa (27-28) which hosted in Osaka 3rd placed Ryukyu GK (26-29). Second ranked Osaka Evessa had an easy win 83-62. Ryukyu GK was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for American power forward Xavier Gibson (210-88, college: Florida St.) who led his team to a victory with 20 points and 7 rebounds. Takuya Hashimoto (186-94) contributed with 14 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four Osaka Evessa players scored in double figures. American forward Reyshawn Terry (203-84, college: N.Carolina) answered with 16 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Syota Tsuyama (178-96) added 17 points in the effort for Ryukyu GK. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Osaka Evessa maintains second place with 27-28 record having eighteen points less than leader Tochigi Brex. Loser Ryukyu GK keeps the third position with 29 games lost. Osaka Evessa will have a break next round. Ryukyu GK will play at home against Kyoto Hannar. and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
