Regular Season Round 29: St Quentin - Bourg 67-83

ProB top team - JL Bourg (21-8) had no problems winning another game. This time they beat fourteenth ranked Saint-Quentin (12-17) 83-67. The game was mostly controlled by JL Bourg. Saint-Quentin was better in fourth quarter 28-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. JL Bourg dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Saint-Quentin's 30. The best player for the winners was Senegalese center Youssou Ndoye (213-91, college: St.Bonaventure) who had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). American center Zachery Peacock (203-87, college: Georgia Tech) chipped in 16 points and 5 rebounds. American-Kenyan forward Robert Nyakundi (203-89, college: SMU) produced 18 points and swingman Pierre-Etienne Drouault (196-90) added 12 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Four Saint-Quentin players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. JL Bourg have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain first place with 21-8 record. Saint-Quentin at the other side keeps the fourteenth position with 17 games lost. JL Bourg's next round opponent will be Poitiers (#7) at home which should be theoretically an easy game.
