Regular Season Round 29: Pau-Lacq-Orthez - Gravelines 94-83

Rather predictable result when fifth ranked Pau-Lacq-Orthez (20-9) won against at home 7th ranked Gravelines-Dunkerque (15-14) 94-83. The game was mostly controlled by Pau-Lacq-Orthez. Gravelines-Dunkerque was better in third quarter 20-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Pau-Lacq-Orthez players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Gravelines-Dunkerque's players. American players dominated the game. Five Pau-Lacq-Orthez and four Gravelines-Dunkerque players scored in double figures. Pau-Lacq-Orthez moved-up to third place, which they share with Strasbourg and Nanterre. Gravelines-Dunkerque lost their third game in a row. They keep the seventh position with 14 games lost. They share it with ASVEL and Le Portel. Pau-Lacq-Orthez will play against Limoges CSP Elite (#10) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Gravelines-Dunkerque will play against Le Portel and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
