The game between Top Four teams took place in Brussels. Third ranked host Basic-Fit Brussels (19-13) smashed one of their biggest challengers Kangoeroes (17-15) 114-74. Basic-Fit Brussels shot 67.7 percent from the field. They shot the lights out from three nailing 15 long-distance shots on high 71.4 percentage. Basic-Fit Brussels players were unselfish on offense dishing 30 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Kangoeroes' players. The winners were led by American power forward Brandon Ubel (209-91, college: Nebraska, agency: Pensack Sports) who scored that evening 25 points and 9 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) and the former international Aleksander Lichodzijewski (204-84) supported him with 25 points (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). Four Basic-Fit Brussels players scored in double figures. Even 22 points and 9 rebounds by Senegalese power forward Pape Badji (208-92) did not help to save the game for Kangoeroes. American point guard Wesley Channels (190-88, college: Austin Peay St.) added 15 points and 4 assists for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Basic-Fit Brussels maintains third position with 19-13 record having eight points less than leader Oostende. Kangoeroes at the other side keep the fourth place with 15 games lost. Basic-Fit Brussels will play against league's second-placed Antwerp Giants at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Kangoeroes will play against Limburg United and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
