Regular Season Round 29: Hapoel J-M - Bnei Hertzeliyya 84-82

The most exciting game of round 29 in the Winner League took place in Jerusalem. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of 4th placed Bnei Hasharon (16-13) to fifth ranked Hapoel Jerusalem (16-13) 84-82 in the game for the fourth place. The hosts trailed by 5 points after three quarters before their 32-25 charge, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was the former international forward Lior Eliyahu (205-85) who scored 12 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. Hapoel Jerusalem have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Bnei Hertzeliyya. Hapoel Jerusalem is looking forward to face league's leader Hapoel Eilat on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Bnei Hasharon will play against Maccabi Haifa and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
