Rilski topped Balkan to secure 1-0 advantage in the series. Rilski made 28-of-33 free shots (84.8 percent) during the game, while Balkan only scored eleven points from the stripe. They outrebounded Balkan 42-26 including a 34-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. Rilski looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American forward Evan Bruinsma (202-92, college: Detroit Mercy, agency: Inception Sports) fired a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. The former international guard Yordan Bozov (191-79) chipped in 21 points and 8 assists (made all of his ten free throws !!!).
