A very interesting game took place in Culiacan. It ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 7th ranked Pioneros Los Mochis (7-12) to ninth ranked Caballeros de Culiacan (6-13) 85-82 on Friday evening. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Pioneros Los Mochis. Caballeros de Culiacan made 22-of-26 charity shots (84.6 percent) during the game. Forward Cameron Forte (201-93, college: Portland St.) produced a double-double by scoring 22 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Nick Murphy (193-88, college: Jacksonville St.) added 14 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for the guests. Five Pioneros Los Mochis players scored in double figures. Caballeros de Culiacan maintains ninth position with 6-13 record. Pioneros Los Mochis at the other side dropped to the eighth place with 12 games lost. Caballeros de Culiacan's next round opponent will be again higher ranked Pioneros Los Mochis (#8) at home and it may be quite challenging game.
