Regular Season Round 58: Toshiba BT - Yokohama BC 92-63

There was no surprise in Kanagawa where 6th ranked Yokohama BC (16-41) was outplayed by first ranked Toshiba Thunders (47-10) 92-63 on Friday. Toshiba Thunders looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American forward Nick Fazekas (211-85, college: Nevada) had a double-double by scoring 26 points and 12 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import forward Ryan Spangler (203-91, college: Oklahoma) chipped in 18 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. Four Toshiba Thunders players scored in double figures. At the losing side international center Pape Faye (200-87) responded with 13 points and 9 rebounds and American forward Jeffrey Parmer (203-85, college: Florida Atlantic) scored 9 points and 8 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Toshiba Thunders maintains first position with 47-10 record. Loser Yokohama BC keeps the sixth place with 41 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
