The game between Top Four teams took place in Kaerjeng. One of their biggest challengers host Bascharage (4-26) lost to fourth ranked BC Mess (15-16) 85-72. American swingman Elijah Bonsignore (198, college: S.New Hampshire) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 39 points (!!!), 19 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 blocks. Power forward Yann Fux (194-90) contributed with 19 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. BC Mess' coach Nigel Tolentino allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American guard Phillip Leonard (188-93, college: Mercer) replied with 22 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists and his fellow American import power forward Emilio Parks (198-92, college: Johnson C. Smith) added 16 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Bascharage. BC Mess have a solid three-game winning streak. Newly promoted BC Mess maintains fourth position with 15-16 record which they share with defeated Bascharage. Bascharage lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth place with 26 games lost. BC Mess' next round opponent will be higher ranked Kordall Steelers (#3) in Rodange and it may be the game of the week. Bascharage will play on the road against the league's leader Basket Esch and hope to win that game.
