Very expected game in Gawler where 8th ranked Central District Lions (1-4) were defeated by second ranked North Adelaide Rockets (4-1) 90-77 on Saturday. North Adelaide Rockets forced 20 Central District Lions turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Central District Lions were plagued by 29 personal fouls down the stretch. American guard Aric Miller (190-90, college: Armstr.Atlantic) stepped up and scored 24 points and 7 assists for the winners and his fellow American import forward Alexander Starling (198-89, college: Beth.-Cookman) chipped in 16 points and 10 rebounds.
