No shocking result in a game in Matsuyama where fourth ranked Orange Vikings (28-29) defeated 6th ranked Kagoshima (7-50) 90-80 on Saturday. Orange Vikings dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Kagoshima's 32. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was U.S. Virgin Islands center Craig Williams (206-89, college: TCU) who had a double-double by scoring 17 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. American center Joshua Crawford (211-88, college: Indiana St.) chipped in a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds. Forward Ryuichiro Nakazono (190-78) produced 29 points and 6 rebounds and Canadian forward Bikramjit Gill (201-92, college: Ball St.) added 13 points and 11 rebounds respectively for the guests. Five Orange Vikings and four Kagoshima players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Orange Vikings maintains fourth place with 28-29 record. Kagoshima lost their seventh game in a row. They keep the sixth position with 50 games lost. Orange Vikings will face again Kagoshima (#6) in Renova in the next round.
