Regular Season Round 60: Shinshu BW - Tokyo Z 64-76

Not a big story in a game when 6th ranked Shinshu BW (14-44) lost to third ranked Tokyo Z (27-31) in Nagano 64-76 on Sunday. Shinshu BW was plagued by 31 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for American center Will Creekmore (205-89, college: Missouri St.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 27 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). The other American import guard Deon Jones (198-93, college: Monmouth) contributed with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Canadian center Chad Posthumus (211-91, college: Morehead St.) replied with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 14 rebounds and Dutch power forward Jeroen van der List (213-89, college: Indian Hills CC) added 10 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Shinshu BW. Shinshu BW's coach Ryutaro Onodera rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Tokyo Z maintains third position with 27-31 record having fourteen points less than leader Shimane SM, which they share with Aomori Watts. Loser Shinshu BW keeps the sixth place with 44 games lost. Tokyo Z will face league's second-placed Toyotsu FE in Nagoya in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Shinshu BW will play on the road against Bambitious Nara (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
